Coming from Latin-American I have seen with my own eyes how the situation is with unprivileged children. I have seen their faces when there is nothing they can do but recognize they will not go to school like other children.
Education is the key to take our countries to the next level and children play a big role in this. The goal of achieve universal primary education is not just about getting children to complete it, but it also has to do with the kind of education they received.
I have been inspired by the way NGO’s from different part of the world are helping my country to accomplish this. Nicaragua has the blessing to count with many local governments that are helping with this; one of them is Utrecht-Leon.
The work is enormous but the rewards are even greater! When we invest in children and in their education we will be investing in our country as well.
I believe in my country and I believe in education being a key for development.

I am Carolyne Kiplagat a deep Kenyan girl. I grew up and studied in Kenya.
I saw what poverty is all about. Can you imagine that 85% of the Kenyans live below 1 dollar a day? This is what I myself experienced all the days I have been in Kenya. This is majorly due to the gap between the rich and the poor. The Rich are becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer.
Most families are starving to dead due to lack of finance. They do manpower jobs so that they can get their basic needs. Even with this others lack work to do thus end up dying due to lack of food.
Children are not send to school and most of them end up becoming a disaster to the surrounding since they become bad people due to lack of care from parents. This is a problem to the nation because most of them engage in criminal activities.
The urban areas are the worst due high growth of slums.
From my own point of view, without eradicating poverty and extreme hunger other millennium developing goals cannot be achieved in this nation. Kenya will never develop if this is not majorly emphasized.
I am also talking on behalf of Africa because this is one of continent which lags behind.
Indeed it is time to rise and fight against poverty!!

Health is a gift from God, and as a human being we have to look after it and bring it also for other people who need it. Based on information from the World Bank it is said that about 80% of the Indonesians still strive with poverty.

If they get an accident in the street and die nobody would know, nobody would care about it.
The other aspect such as diseases is also on their death circle, tuberculosis, Malaria and Thyphus can also take their live from this world. The Millennium Development Goas can perhaps help my country Indonesia to reduce it’s problems with Child Health.
From my perspective, a child health will be a greatest thing to reduce child mortality and will bring a new dream generation, a healthy generation.
